STUCK NO MORE...
With new covers, new titles and lots to read, it is getting harder and harder to tell if you have already read a book.

Here are some ways Page2 BOOKS
can help!

1.  Look for the ‘republished’ label on books.  We are now labeling republished books before they are put on the shelf.

2.  Ask for a list of an entire author’s books or a selection of a particular series.  We will print you a list at no charge.  They make a good reference or checklist.

3.  "Been there, done that". Bring your book back to the store.  If you find you have indeed read it before, just bring it back for a straight across exchange. We guarantee it!

Let us know if you have other ideas.  We want you to have a book that you enjoy and we will help all we can!

Letter from original Page 2 owners, Joyce and Joe.

Start Over

How Page 2 Books began

In February, 2002 Karen and Gayle, a mother-daughter team decided to make a dream come true by purchasing Page 2 BOOKS.

We opened our doors to you April 1, 2002.  Since then we have seen many dreams come true.

First we put more books into the hands of our book loving customers.  On any given day, there are over 35,000 books to choose from in the store. In six years, you, our customers, have purchased over 150,000 books!  In May 2008 we installed new shelves to increase the number of books you have to choose from.

To learn more about the special services we provide, click on the following links:  ‘been there, done that’ guarantee, our wishlist, the famous pink REWARDS card and the Reader’s Group.  We strive to provide you with the best in books and the best in service, so we are always on the look out for new ideas to make your shopping and reading experience spectacular.

We are also part of our community.  To read about some of our projects, click on these links:  donations to schools and non-profits and support for Page Ahead, a local organization putting new books into the hands of children who otherwise would not be able to own their own book.

We also support local art through Artists United and our neighborhood artisans by carrying hand-made book covers, bookmarks and greeting cards.  To read more about our products, click on Products

We are also a distribution point for the Burien Parks and Recreation Senior Program and for SeattleWoman, a free publication highlighting achievements and interests of local women.

Independent bookstores are special places where dreams come true.  With your support, Page 2 BOOKS will continue to be a vibrant place to find the books that you love, the neighbors who will be become your friends and the children who will learn to love to read.

Thanks for being here with us!

- Gayle and Karen
